About Keep Breathing

The oceans act like a giant lung by absorbing the heat trapped in carbon dioxide and as a consequence, the temperature of the water rises, affecting the ecosystem.

Although it may seem insignificant, that the temperature of the ocean rises two degrees, for the corals it is lethal. It is as if the temperature of our body changes.

Some species undergo mutations, turning fluorescent and glowing when trying to protect themselves from heat. The incredible and beautiful phase of death.

29% of the corals on the Great Barrier Reef died in 2016, in just one year.
